Digitization
The digitization department, under the capable guidance of Dr. Nicholas Kouchoukos, produces high quality GIS layers from existing paper maps, as well as creating new maps directly from remotely-sensed imagery - both aerial and satellite.
In addition to established products such as paper-to-digital map conversions our digitization team has recently added product offerings of document scanning and indexing and superior land-ownership data for real estate.
Custom Data Layer Creation: Lanworth is leading some of the largest mapping projects being conducted anywhere in the United States with a workforce highly trained and proficient in photo-interpretation
Parcel Mapping and Cadastral Conversion: Lanworth has implemented projects which integrated parcel maps and land roll information, making the results available over the internet. Lanworth has also completed large scale digitization of land parcels and geo-registration of paper based land ownership boundaries. With expertise in satellite imagery, Lanworth can automatically generate list of land owners with specific types of land use/land change, such as a list of landowners in any county in the US with timber older than 30 years and forestland larger than 50 acres.
